When I switch machine on, it will fill with water then then just stop and nothing happens this occurs on all program setting. When I reset the machine and try again it drains? Could the timer be o.o.o

-   hi again. Circulation pump tries to start but stops and led on panel
goes out and so on and on.I disconected capacitor from circulation pump
from my candy cd112 and tested it with digital multimeter and it says
no(zero) uF instead of 4 uF-+ 5%.So ill buy new one and see if its
solved problem and post it.
-   My Candy cd112 runs for a short while and then just stops. When the door is held tightly shut it runs for much longer, in fact sometimes finishing the cycle if something is pushed against the door. This suggests a microswitch on the door catch to me, but I cannot find any spare parts list which sells such a thing for the cd112.-   Guest
I appear to have solved this problem. Firstly I slightly adjusted the door catch on the actual machine, the strong wire bit, outwards. Then I undid the screws on the top part of the door exposing the electrics of the dial and door micro switch. I noticed that the microswitch (the small metal part pushed in and let out by the plastic arm rotated when opening and shutting the door) was dirty or rusty. I sprayed a little WD40 on this and played with the door catch a few times. I then screwed everything back in to place and the machine works perfectly. Easy and quick and a lot cheaper than the £80 I had just been quoted by a service person to come and change the switch mechanism as he called it!
