Hello there and welcome to fixya:
Your washer can develop several types of leaks. You can track down a leak based on when it occurs:
During fill only
If the washer leaks only during the fill cycle, check these:
Air-gap device -The air gap is a small device found on most washers that prevents the wash water from being siphoned into the household water supply. It's located either mid-way along or at the end of the black rubber hose that comes from the water-inlet valve. Often it's made of translucent plastic. If one of the air-gap components deforms or cracks, you may need to replace it.
The tube -There's a rubber tube that runs between the water-inlet valve and either the air-gap or the inlet spout. If it cracks or breaks, it can cause a leak.
Inlet spout -Most washers have a plastic spout near the top of the main clothes tub that directs the water into the tub. If the spout cracks or breaks free of its mounting, it can cause a leak.
During drain and spin only
A washer that leaks only during the spin cycle often has a leak in the main drain hose. Inspect the entire hose and correct any problem you find. Alternatively, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. This may be most visible during large loads and high water levels. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub--but that may not be an economical repair to make. Consult a qualified appliance repair technician for further details.
All the time
If the washer leaks all the time, check these:
Hot and cold water fill hoses - Check the hot and cold water hoses from the household plumbing. If either hose is leaking, tighten it or replace it, as appropriate.
Main tub seal - The main tub seal is located between the transmission and the outer tub. It's the primary water seal in the outer tub for the transmission-shaft entry point. If this seal leaks, you can see the leak by opening up the machine's main access panel while the machine is full of water with a small amount of detergent in it. The leak appears at the underside of the outer tub, at or near the center. This seal is difficult to replace. You probably should call a qualified appliance repair technician.
Pump - If the pump leaks, you can probably spot the leak when the tub is full of water. The pump has two or more black rubber or plastic hoses attached to it and usually has a drive belt that spins the pump. If the pump is leaking, you need to replace it.
Outer tub - Over time, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub--but that may not be an economical repair to make. Consult a qualified appliance repair technician for further details.

Plug off the mains on the wall. Tilt your machine towards the front to examine the bottom. Use something to safe- guard the front. Look to see if any pipe, hose has become loose or disconnected. Tighten up with hose pliers to secure. Usually solves the problem. Please rate if helped.......................thanks.

While using washing machine water leaks out

sounds like the lower pipe or pump pipe is leaking or come away. you need to pull the washer out and place it on its side (left as you look at front) and check the pipes on the bottom, they have pincer clamps on the pipes, if the pipes are cracked or damaged replace them but usually its just they have come loose from drum movement. and just need fitting back on. also the drain pipe needs to be at least 3 inches from the top level with the water in pipes height of the washer so the water does not just come out.

I have had water leaking from underneath my dishwasher and have found that on filling, water overflows top of the water inlet unit

My Miele 828 dishwasher started to leak at the front left corner. The leak became worse. I tipped the machine on its side and removed the rubber moulding connecting the base of the drum to the pump. I cleaned it out and refitted it finding two small coins inside. The leak persisted. I took off the top of the machine by unscrewing the two screws on either side and pushing the lid backwards. I switched the machine on and, with a torch could see that the detergent dispenser had detached from the delivery pipe under it. Using advice elsewhere on Fixya I undid the three bolts around the door and the three screws around the detergent dispenser; one is deeply recessed and easily missed. Than I unclipped the drain pipe behind the little door at the bottom left hand corner at the front. The front then hinges out from the left with hinges at the right side making the leaking connection easily accessible. Make sure you get the rubber flange well up the plastic tube as there is no flange on the tube to secure it. A possible design fault but the unit has functioned for ten years before the connection failed.

Leaking water in front left side

hi tom
yes the drain tube may be glogged and when the unit defrosts the water just flows to the bottom of the un it then eventally out, if you have a clogged drain, you will see water on a pretty reglar basis
8, 10, 12 hours
the drain pipe is behind the back wall on the freezer, if you take that off you will se an ice build up, remove that ice and clear the drain tube
you may need to pull out the machine and remove the tube from the back to ensure that it is entirley clear

There is a leak at the bottom of the washing machine. Water is coming out the bottom front and bottom left.

The leak is from the drain hoses or the fill pipes.
No need to worry. It's a common issue and easy
to fix of your own.

Leaks water out of the bottom of the machine.

check the pipe the drain hose goes into. if this is blocked the water will overflow out of it. or there could be a split in your drain hose

Water leaking from the bottom of the washer at the rear right corner!

firstly check that the inflow water pipes connected to the machine are connected correctly, feel around the pipes that touch the machine to see if there is any water. If there is the washers may need replacing on the pipe. Or the pipe may simply have got a bit loose through the machines spinning.
