Hi if you can see my comment
The Cable is most likely the problem.. If you have tried other Devises using the same Video?Audio TV inputs.
I would TRY these STEPS .
1) Exchange for A new Xbox if this was from a Local Retailer
2) If it was a Refurbished Xbox and you purchased online or from a LOCAL VIDEO GAMES retailer.. ask for an Exchange and see if there is a fee for shipping it back (ONLINE)
3) Go to the store or a Lic. Xbox Retailer and Buy an after market Plug or a 3rd party " to test it" save the receipt and if that works then you know what the problem is

To connect your Xbox 360 console to your high-definition TV (HDTV):

  1. Turn off your console.
  2. If another AV cable (such as the component HD AV cable) is already connected to your console's AV port, disconnect it before continuing.
  3. Connect the HDMI AV cable connector to the HDMI AV port (not the standard AV port) on the console.
    xBOX 360 - e8dd80e.jpg
  1. Connect the other end of the HDMI AV cable to the HDMI input on your TV.
  2. Turn on your console. From the System area, select the appropriate high definition video setting for your TV.
Connect a Stereo Audio System with the HDMI Cable HDMI supports audio through your TV. However, you might prefer to connect Xbox 360 audio to a different audio system, such as a stereo receiver or amplifier. To do so, connect the HDMI AV cable for video and the included audio adapter cable for audio.
Note
If you have a receiver that supports HDMI you don't need to use the HDMI AV cable. Instead, you can simply run your HDMI cable straight to the receiver and then out of the receiver to the TV.

Maybe the problem is the INPUT board of your TV is loose or crack or cold solder joint, this is the common problem of the TV input,to solve the problem you can do it yourself this very easy just open the back cover and look the input connection the COMPOSITE VIDEO and COMPONENT VIDEO board to re works or resolder the solder joint,so it will works normally again...

Hope this may help you;

How to Connect XBOX 360

xBOX 360 - e2fbfe3.jpg
This is the back of the Xbox 360. The ports for the power cable, A/V cable, and ethernet cable are pretty easy to find. When you set up your Xbox 360, make sure it is in a well ventilated area that is free of dust. Dust and overheating are the two main causes of problems in electronics so choosing the right placement for your Xbox 360 is important.

This is the standard Xbox 360 A/V cable that comes with the premium version of the Xbox 360. The wide silver end connects to your Xbox 360 while the other end connects to your TV. The Yellow (video) cable is for standard, non-HDTV sets. You will also use the Red+White audio cables for a standard set. If you have a newer TV or an HDTV set, you can use the Red+Green+Blue video connections along with the Red+White audio connections.

This shot shows what the back of most TVs look like. If you have a standard TV, you'll only have the Yellow+Red+White connections. If you have a newer TV or HDTV, you should have the same connections that are shown in the pic. This step isn't too hard since the cables from the Xbox 360 and ports on the back of your TV are all color-coded.

If, and only if, you have an HDTV and want to use your Xbox 360 in 480p, 720p, or 1080i resolutions you have to slide a little switch over on your A/V cable. On the end of the A/V cable that connects to the Xbox 360, there is a little switch that you'll need to click over. If you do not have an HDTV, you can skip this step.

Now that you have the audio/video cables connected, the next step is to hook up the power supply. Connect the two parts as shown in the picture and then connect the "power brick" end to your Xbox 360 and the other end to a wall outlet. The big power brick needs plenty of ventilation just like the main system so try to have an open space on a shelf for it. It is not recommended that you set it on the carpet.

Once you have everything hooked up, you are ready to go. Press the large circular power button to get things started. If you have a wired controller, plug it into a USB port behind the little USB door. If you have a wireless controller, hold the silver "X" button in the middle of the controller until the upper left quadrant of the system power button as well as the ring around the "X" button on the controller light up. If it doesn't light up, press the controller connect button on the Xbox 360 as well as the connect button on the top of the controller.
If this is the first time the system has been used, you'll have to go through an onscreen setup process. This is simply setting up your player profile, choosing HDTV settings if available, and/or signing up for Xbox Live service. The system walks you through everything.
Now you are ready to play.

The XBOX 360 is really not sensitive to any type of TV. As long as you have the right connections on the back, that should work fine. Since you said you have tried all possible cable combo and none works, its time to test the xbox to a different TV just to isolate the problem. Give it a try using different TV.

This can be color coded, specially if it is labelled "component" (green red and yellow) plus the digital audios white black and red. please check on the manual too since these kind of connections are illustrated in the handbook.

You need to connect all 6, if your tv has only 3 your trying to connect to composite video. you need to pruchase a adapter which converts the 6 cables to 3 cables.

    Thats the solution.

You can accept my solution or if you have any other questions let me know. The guys in the shop will get you the right kind of cable. your xbox is perfectly fine! congratulations on the purchase its a great "toy".

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I cant look around in fallout 3 (right stick frozen), and my last save point was hours and hours ago. however the right stick works in pause menu and other games. what do i do?

What probably happened is your right stick was compressed when the remote turned on. Try turning the remote off and on, or un-plug and plug it back in. If that doesn't work simply save your game using the left thumb stick.

Forgot password to unlock family settings on xbox 360?

I've managed to come across this from someone who called microsoft with the same problem (it seems quite common)
Go into settings Console settings Then device settings (The one with the blue screen)
Then go:
left trigger, right trigger, x, y, left bumper, right bumper,
left with left stick, up with left stick, right with left stick, x

If you have trouble use the pad instead of stick, but I could only get the stick to work..

I hope that helps
