Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
HI MY HP DV6000 LAPTOP IS NOTE DETECTING WIRELESS NTWORKS..NOR THE WIRELESS ENABLING SWITCH TURNS ORANGE TO BLUE. HOW CAN I FIX THIS
Just so you know, your laptop is covered under HP warranty, that model was recalled. See here and follow the instructions they will repair it for free! I just did it with mine.

This is a known issue with this model.
Just check it out the below weblink and if you find your Notebook product number, you can contact HP to arrainge a free mail in service for the notebook. No matter wheter the notebook is in warrenty or out of warrenty.
That will resolve the issue.

This is a known problem with the dv6000 series.
If you contact an HP rep, they can assist you.
backing up your hard drive
d/l the latest firmware for your bios
and d/l the latest drivers
get help soon before it burns out your motherboard.
then you'll get trouble starting up your PC - automatic restarts
certain models of dv6000 are eligible for an extended warranty past the 1 year due to this problem
