I am currently using a Sonay Vaio VGN SZ 483n. The OS is vista business. When I play a movie or listen to music through the laptop speakers everything is fine. However, when I plug in headphones, sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. I inititally thought it was a problem with the headphones so i got new ones but the same thing happens. The sound comes from the headphones for a few hours or days and then all of a suddent the sound stops coming through it. This keeps happening. What do i do ?
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

I'd suggest ring back Sony support and tell them that your OS is Windows 7 - not Vista. Therefore, you need the upgraded VGA driver because the Vista driver is incompatible with Windows 7. Hope it all goes well. If my suggestion works for you, please do rate me. Thanks

Visit the sony Vaio website - chances are you need to upgrade a driver, or download a patch for use with Vista. FYI: This is something you should get used to looking for. EVERYTHING needs SOMETHING to work with Vista....
check the player you use and make sure that all the types of music is checked for use, mp3's and any other type of file name that you use for your music, I personally check all the boxes in Media Player, and itunes to accept all formats of music. let me know if this helps..Steve, (somehow it looks like these box's became unchecked in error.
Vista Home premium drivers will work perfectly with Windows Vista Ultimate. When installing Vaio event service and Vaio Control center make sure that you run setup file as administrator. Right-click the setup file and select option "run as administrator". By reinstalling utilities this way they will work perfectly well
