I am using Leopard on my Macbook Pro. I open HP Photosmart studio and select 'scan'. This in turn opens HP Scan Pro. It then does a quick scan and shows me the page and the section it wants to save. I then have to drag the side's of this offering to expand the area.
I would like to have it scan the whole page as a default option, as it usually doesn't offer to save enough of the page for my liking. Is there a way to set this up?
-   Same problem but with a Photosmart All-in-One C4280 connected to an iMac vintage April 2008. If there's a significant amount of blank space on the document, Photo"smart" scans either the top or bottom of the page - but not the whole thing. Checked Preferences to no avail. Awfully frustrating!
I finally tricked it into scanning the entire document by bypassing the buttons on the machine and calling for a scan via the software. But there must be a better way.
