The air conditioner used to be working fine, but all of a sudden it glitched, I can't turn it off, and the only way of doing so is to unplug it. It remains on fan and autocool, but the days are too hot, and the fan really sucks! The LED seems glitched as well. Here are a few pictures: (too big, can't ue the uploader)

I've tried the "hold on to power button while resetting" methods (and similar variations). However, each time the test sequence comes on, it doesn't end with a beep sound. Instead it keeps repeating itself over and over.
TIA.

I have a sharp window unit that has worked for the last 4 years or so. I was installing it this spring and the compressor will not engage. But when i run it through the self test / reset (hold power button and plug in) i hear the compressor engaging. I have the front panel off and i have checked all the connections, the temp sensor reads correctly and throws no codes. I did drop it from the height of a toilet when installing it. Perhaps that has something to do with it. I have a car aircon pressure gauge around, is there a place/way to hook it up maybe?
