Active light flashing after wash

After the washing has been done the light no longer switches to END. It is as though the washing machine won't go onto the last part of it's cycle. The clothes are washed, but I think it sis the spin cycle afterwards that removes the excess water from the clothes that is failing. I recently had to move my washing machine, but none of the leads were touched and the water/powere were never disconnected. Also I don't think it suffered any knocks.

I would most grateful for any ideas as to how to solve this problem. Thanks
