Question about Intel Motherboard
Should i just manually input HD properties?
why was the sata dvd player not recognized?
OK, you did not say that it was a DVD driver - in the BIOS, SATA settings should be auto. If it is not seeing it after, then check the mother board spec if it is SATA 1.1 or SATA 2. Most drives have a jumper that is left on for SATA 1.1, and removed for SATA 2. If it still does not work, then the drive may be bad.
