It need to reinstall the web cam.

Fill in the details and click 'GO'

Click on the link:-
"Microsoft LifeCam Readme and Troubleshooting Information"

All the information you require should be found here, Including the latest software to download and Customer Support
Check out any additional software you have to download as well as the Lifecam.

Procedure
Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software
Disconnect your webcam
Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer
Restart computer
Download the Installation package from Microsoft
Run the installer and choose your options when prompted
Connect your webcam when prompted.

1) Skype is very picky about drivers - make sure you have the latest also check the 'Readme' link for known issues

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the software again?I suggest you first uninstall it and then download the software again from the below link and install it.

The online software is probably corrupted somehow. A program for a webcam is relatively small and should only take a couple minutes to download. Google your make and model and include search words driver and software to find another source. Maybe look on microsoft to see if there is another source available for the software as well.
