I have just bought an n wireless router to take to spain with me however i only have a lap top and your instructions seem to say to connect to a computer tower.can i do it directly to lap top

Yes, your laptop PC will work fine. Normally you need to be sure the laptop is on the same network as the router and connect to its Ethernet (LAN) port via the built in wired network adapter on your laptop to configure.

I have a lap top and a ps3 both say they are connected to the router but when i try to connected to the internet nothing. both work via the hard wire

  • you need to set the router configuration to connect to the Internet
  • check these powercycle the modem, router
  • then bypass router - if with internet on the modem, then router must be reconfigured call belkin support
  • or else call ISP

Connection problem

The first thing to check is that both of your computers are assigned to the same workgroup name. Right click 'my computer' and select properties. Change the workgroup name so that they are identical on both machines. You will need to reboot if you change the name one one or both of the machines.
