-   My mp3 won't turn on at all. I dropped it from about six inches off the ground while it was playing. It beeped, turned off, and I can't turn it back on. I've opened it up but didn't see anything wrong with it. it doesn't respond at all when you push the "on" button.-   josephs mp3

-   I have the same problem (Lyra MC2501A) and have tried the lock button. I just bought the MP3 a few months ago so do not assume it is a battery problem as it appeared to charge fine and the unit will say "battery full" when I plug it back into the USB. I tried the reset button but that did not help. I could try a new battery but have no idea how to get the old one out.-   Missbanana
