Question about Apple iPod touch
I just bought a similar MP3/MP4 player on Ebay and was having the same problem but I have now got it working. Here what I did. Scary as it sounds I had to format the player the same as you would a disk. Plug it into your computer using the USB port. It will list as a drive (possibly two drives depending on your model). Format the the player using the first drive that is ont one of your standard computer drives (in case it lists two) that it lists. WARNING! This will erase any demos on the player.. be prepared. It will take a while for the formating to take place.. be prepared to wait about 30 or more minutes depending on the size (GB's) of your player or the speed of your computer. Once the player is formatted you will be able to create folders in your player using the computer the same way you would on your hard drive or a flash drive. I suggest one for MUSIC, VIDEOS, PICTURES, and TEXT if you have a text/e-book option. Once you have this done you can then upload jepgs to your PICTURES file and MP3 files to your MUSIC folder. The video files will be another matter. In my case all the video files must be AVI and converting them is a real mess as the player wants them a certain size and frames per second (FPS) finding a converter to get the files just right is a problem and depending your player it may take a while using the trial and error method to find teh right output file settings. One last thing.. if you plan to store e-books... they MUST be in plain text. Many ebooks you download will say they are in plain text but are not. To fix this load then into your wordprocesser and resave them as plain text. Then they will work perfectly in your player.
Once you have done all of the above you're player should be working exactly the way you dreamed it would when you bought it. At least if did for me.
Best of luck
