Question about Dell Inspiron 8500 Notebook
I have an Inspiron 1405 and just in the last couple days it's display started acting funny. During startup (when I open up the laptop), the display turns on for a quick sec and then goes black. I had some success when I used an air duster to clean up stuff but the problem's back again.
I can use a secondary display but not the primary. The laptop is functioning just fine.
My guess is that your laptop's graphics card is goinf out on you. If your computer has an Intel embedded graphics card, then you will probably have to replace the whole display itself; if it has a dedicated graphics card such as NVIDIA or ATI, then you ight only have to have the graphics card.
