Question about Philips DVP3960
I have a Philips DVP3960. It has worked great for the past almost year I have had it. I Recently rented a DVD called Asylum and when I put the DVD in it asks for a pasword. I used the pasword given in another post on this website, but then the front display stays on "LOAD". I watched a dvd just before this one and have never in the time I've owned it had to input a password. I took this DVD out and tried another Rated R DVD and it worked fine. Any Ideas?
Here is what i did to fix this
1 go to Philips,com
2 find your dvd type / model you have
3 down load the latest sortware / fermware file to a computer "its a .ZIP file"
4 unzip the file to your computer and burn it to a cd-rom disc
5 power up you Philips DVD load the ****
6 this vary importent you well see it it say UPGRADING - NO NOT POWER OFF
wait for it to finish first it took me about 3 minuts
7 after it was done it worked just fine
