Question about ASUS A7V8X Motherboard
OS Windows XP. Audio works before. When I downloaded an upgrade to my system drivers and not from ASUS, the audio stopped. I tried reinstalling the driver using the current driver download from ASUS website, still it doesn't work. I see there are similar problems around here. Do you have any idea what should I do. I already installed the latest audio driver, Sound Max 3663.
I'd format and reinstall windows, chances are that the custom drivers you downloaded first are conflicting with the official driver, you could be there for weeks trying different drivers without any success, your only other option is to buy a cheap soundcard and work around it that way.
