Bad directsound driver please install proper driver

reinstall sound driver, but first check for right one -> go to device manager -> click on "sound..." -> then click one of "audio controller" and then properties-> on information tab click from the menu: hardware ID and paste it in the google search-> and find the correct one and download... most popular is realtek audio, so try there as well , on their company website

Audio device not installed

Click start right click on computer select properties then device manager scroll to sound and video game controllers if you see a yellow question/exclamation mark or a red X the driver will need to update drivers Click start right click on computer select properties then device manager scroll to sound and video if you right click on sound and video then on high definition audio device select update driver software Click start control panel hardware and sound manage audio devices right click on your speaker select configure speakers. Right click on the speaker icon in the bottom taskbar you will see an array of options select playback devices make sure it has a green tick and the correct speakers are selected be updated. If you computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it although once speakers are connected widows 7 should automatically update the drivers Click start control panel hardware and sound manage audio devices playback you might have to set a default go for via high definition audio then right click on speaker You might have to configure them then select properties you will see tabs general level in this tab make sure your settings are loud enough also enhancements and advanced from the drop down list in the advanced tab select dvd quality or another then apply

Not getting sound after formatting & even after installing sound drivers as indicated in dialog box appeared in encarta dictionery

even after instaling the sound drivers just check in the hardware configuration whether the sound drivers are properly installed by seeing the icon beside the sound drivers in the hardware configuration.. and if still unable to get them.. try the speaker icon if its in mute mode.. and if still the problem persists then it must the sound card on the mother board which is gone bad.

I did a format to my comp and i lost the drivers for my Inspire T 5900 do you know were to download them?

First, speakers don't have drivers (although one of the names used for a speaker is a driver.) Sound cards have drivers.

Inspire T5900 MF4045 Speakers Do Not Require Drivers/Applications to Work (Non-USB Speakers)

Creative speakers do not need to be installed at all as they can be plugged in to a device and ready to be used straight away.

Desktop speakers are designed to function with most sound cards without the use of any drivers. As such, there are no drivers necessary for the speakers to function as they were designed. The sound card or audio device which the speakers are plugged into may require drivers and/or software to work. Ensure that your speaker is connected to your sound card's audio out and that your sound card is configured properly to output sound. Please contact the sound card manufacturer for driver availability.
