Question about i-mate JAM Pocket PC
Dear Wizards and Gurus,
I got an i-mate JAMA as a gift and everything went well till three days ago. Except the first screen shot announcing it as an imate product, it does not proceed further. Then I took it to the authorised service centre of imate who say that since this was bought by the donor outside India only country specific dealer warranty exists, so he refused to even take a look at it.
I tried to go for online support but they want the IMEI no. which I can get only if I can check for it.
Can you tell me what to do.
Usually you can solve it by rebooting WITHOUT the memory card, once it is rebooted, then slot in the memory card. It is a very common small bug that exist with this WM5 platform. One note though, do not consider upgrading this to WM6 as it presents more bug as the hardware is more geared towards WM5 and not 6.
