umm dude if u have the disks and stuff install them. ummmmm also sync is to put the songs on the player like save them on their. also try using windows media player, in the top right corner it will say ur device name, then fill in all the songs below it(so copy and paste). and then sync them. good luck dude.!
get rid of win media 11 completly uninstall it go back to old nero or old windows media player or copy and paste songs straight to mp3 player on my computer drive letter output

windows is helping in cracking down on music jackers
it's asking that you verify the DRM status (i.e., that you bought it and it resides on YOUR computer.) It cannot play the file until you synchronize it with windows media player. You can delete them off of the MP3 player just by noting which songs don't play and deleting them through windows explorer when the player is connected.
1. go to the settings menu on your player
2. go to USB and change it to MTP
3. Plug it into your PC
4. Open My Computer and right click on your player
5. Click on format
6. open windows media player
7. click on library and start adding songs to your player
8. click on "sync" at the bottom of the playlist on the right
9. that should do it!
The Sansa player always wants to sync with the first/original computer that you hooked the player to to make sure you still have a paid subscription to Rhapsody, Napster, etc (sometimes it works if you hook it to another computer with an open internet connection so that it can verify that the subscription is still good).
You have to synchronize your Sansa to a computer that has a current subscription to Rhapsody, and you have to sync the Sansa to that same computer at least once every 30 days, or the Rhapsody songs will stop working. Use a different music service that is free, or convert all of the songs to Mp3 format to get around the problem. If you get a subscription to another music svc, then you must maintain a current subscription with whatever new svc you choose as well.
I did a search on "synchronize to continue your subscription" and found this solution on another forum. I tried it and it worked.
