Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
I have Vista on an hp Pavillion dv6000 - The built in speakers are buzzing & won't stop (even after reboot). It started when I was recording a song (using audacity) - a large low end feedback signal came through from my amp, and I unplugged the cable. The buzz just stayed - It's a loud constant electronic buzz - the only thing that seems to interrupt it momentarily is if I press on the metal 'screen' above the keyboard.
Please help me stop this awful sound. I hope it's not ruined - ack!
First of all, check if the issue is with the Microphones of your Notebook.
Try disabling or turning off the Microphone of the Notebook to check this.
Additionally, try reinstalling the Audio Drivers of the notebook if possible by checking the Notebook driver page.
