How to remove virus from phone memory

Hi there,
Have a blessed day. My name is dingra. There are a few things you can do to attempt to remove the virus from a cellphone.
1.Format the memory card in your cell phone. It may actually be the memory card, not the phone itself, that is infected with the undeletable virus. On most phones, you can format the memory card directly from the phone by going to the "Options," "Settings" or "Tools" portion of the main menu screen on your cell phone. Consult the manual that came with your phone to learn exactly how to format the memory card in your cell phone. You can also find these user manuals directly on the manufacturer's website.
2.Buy a new memory card for your cell phone. The undeletable virus may have damaged your memory card beyond repair. If formatting the memory card didn't fix the problem, getting a brand new memory card may fix your problem. These memory cards are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased at just about any store that sells cell phones.
3.Format your entire cell phone. If getting a brand new memory card hasn't fixed your phone, formatting your cell phone should remove the virus and every other file on the phone. Before you attempt to format your cell phone, remove your memory card. Read the manual for your specific cell phone, as the instructions for formatting cell phones vary based upon the manufacturer of the phone. fir

Hope it helps.
Thank you for using fixya.

I have an Android phone that randomly starts calling numbers on the phone log and opening up apps. Is there a fix?

It seems you have a virus. This is most likely caused by an infected applications. It is best that you download an anti-virus application from the Market.
1. Navigate to Market through you applications menu.
2. Search for "antivirus" in the Market app (i recommend "AVG Antivirus") and download/install it.
3. Launch the anti-virus application and run a "Scan" or "Check" for viruses.
I expect that you have a virus. Follow the anti-virus application's instructions to remove/destroy the virus and/or application causing the problem.

My phone hang problem

Hello, when a phone hangs.this could be caused by two major thins,
1.a virus attack on the memory card or mobile phone
2.a factory default could also cause that.
to clear the virus on your memory card or mobile phone, you will need to download an anti-virus to use in scanning both your mobile phone and memory card,if that is done i guess your phone should stop the hanging.you can download an anti-virus from getjar.com.

if it's a factory default you can take it back to the store of purchase to claim your warranty so as for them to fix it for free or give you a replacement if not fixable.you can as well visit a mobile phone technical expert to fix it up for you, with the use of their internet flash by using their software and usb data cable.

wish you success,

How to repair white screen of n70

Hello,

it depends if its a screen problem or a virus problem.

Those are one of the things that can make a phone screen to be white.

Put on the phone and use another line to call your phone. If it rings, then it means its a screen problem. But if it does not ring, then its a virus problem.

In the case of screen problem, loose the phone first and check it the screen is well fixed. If well fixed, then it means you have to buy another screen.

But in the case of virus, this means you have to flash the phone.

Best regards.

Nokia N73 support on several niggling problems

Hello there. The anti-virus programs available today for n73 ****, meaning they're almost useless.

What you need to do is format your phone memory. That'll get rid of all viruses stored, and probably fix that "restart" problem you've been having (unless it's a hardware problem). Remove your memory card before you do so first.

To format
  1. turn phone off.
  2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
  3. do not let go until it asks you about your location
After you've formatted your phone memory, all viruses will be gone, and it'll be functioning a lot smoother than before.

Next, you've got to scan your memory for viruses by hooking it up to a computer, and then use that computer's anti-virus (has to be updated) to eliminate all those pesky viruses.

Then you could also run a "scan disk" using the computer's "scan disk" feature to make fix any errors on the memory card. You could also choose to defrag the mem card if you like, just to make it respond faster.

As for the loose memory card slot, you're going to have to bring it to a technician to have it fixed. Shouldn't be that expensive.

Or you could put a small piece of tape on it, that is if you feel like getting primitive. :)

Let me know how it goes
