Re: how can i write in hebrew?

Windows XP: Click Start, Settings and then Control Panel. Open Regional and Language Options in Control Panel. If it isn't listed there, click Date, Time, Language and Regional Options and then click Regional and Language Options. Click Details on the Languages tab under Text services and input languages. Click Add under Installed services. Choose the language for the keyboard layout or Input Method Editor (IME) you want to add from the Input language list, . Select the Keyboard layout/IME check box, if it is an option. If multiple options are available, select a service in the list. (If Keyboard Layout/IME is the only type of text service available, click an option in that list.) Windows 2000 Click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel, click Keyboard. Click the middle tab labeled Input Locales and select Change. Once you have clicked Change, you will see a tree that explains the Language settings of the Windows OS as well as the keyboard layout. Under the section labeled Keyboard, you will see the language that the keyboard is set to. Highlight that language and select Add. This will bring up a list of available languages. Select the language you would like to add, click Apply, and close this section. Windows may ask for a reboot in order for these settings to take effect; click OK. Windows 98 and ME Click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel, click Keyboard Once you are in this section, you will see a tab labeled Languages. Click Add, and select the language you would like to add to your system. Once you have completed this, you may have to reboot for the system settings to take effect. This will add the keyboard layout settings for the specified language.

Keyboard mixes up letters

3 options to try: 1) Check that correct language keyboard still loaded; 2) Make sure its QWERTY and not DVORAK keyboard setting; 3) Switch off, remove Logitech, plug in an old keyboard and see if problem still there. With old keyboard and no Logitech, delete drivers for Logitech keyboard, switch computer off then back on slowly, reconnect Logitech and see if problem solved.

Hi I have a Logitech EX110 keyboard ... I would like to know the short cut keys for the Euro and Pound sign

For the € sign it should be AltGr + 4

I'm assuming that pound means £ (GBP) and not #...... Do you have the £ sign on the number 2 key? If you do and your just not getting the £ symbol when pressing Shift + 2 then you probably have the keyboard set to the wrong language.

In control panel look for Region and Language settings, in there should be keyboard languages. In that section make sure that you have the correct one selected for your keyboard.

Thanks

When I type, sometimes a key types a french letter with an accent. How do I get it back to the english version? Also, my number pad to the right of the main keyboard doesn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Make sure the NUM LOCK key is on. Your number key pad won't work if it's not on. As far as the French letters with accents, when the Enable indicator on taskbar check box is selected, and you have two or more languages installed, an indicator that represents the default language appears on the Windows taskbar. To switch between languages quickly, click the indicator, and then click the language you want to use. You can also use shortcut keys to switch between languages while you type. Select one of the switch languages options on the Language tab to set the shortcut keys.

My keyboard settings for the MX 3200 have just changed from a UK setting to a USA setting and I'm not sure hown to get the UK settings back. Can anyone help?

Hi,
First look at the system tray on the right bottom corner of your desktop. You should be able to find the language bar saying EN or US. Click that and select the required language.
If you cannot find it then go to Start->Control Panel->Regional and Language Options.
Then click on Languages, and select the details. Then choose the default input language of your choice.

Alternative try to click Alt+Left Shift together to switch between languages.

Press and hold the shift key, then press Control to toggle through the keyboard languages. Try typing again to see if it has returned to English.

Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Classic View
Click Regional and Language Options

Change the "default" language, or remove the other languages.

@ appears when pressing shift 2

In american keyboard shift+2 is @, latin-american keyboard shift+2 is ".
Im guessing ur problem is the language setup of ur keyboard, depending on ur OS, go to control panel, Clock, Language and Region, Change keyboard or other input methods, Change keyboards and there u got to add urs :D,
Sometimes it switches back to english, so if u want to make sure it doesnt happen, after u add ur keyboard language, remove the other one that u dont need.

Hi I have a Logitech MX5000 and the " key works instead of the @ how do I switch these around?

You have a different keyboard layout. To swap around, go to control panel > regional and language settings > regional tab and from the dropdown menu select English (United States). If this was already selected, then select English (United Kingdom) instead.
