Question about iLO (2 GB) MP3 Player

1 Answer

8004A803 error OS is XP- I keep getting an 8004A803 error message when i attempt to sync to the device. These are not audio books or large files. The files are not protected and are formatted correctly (MP3 or WMA). I have uninstalled WMP 10 and reinstalled it. Could not find anything on webhelp or searching various search engine results. I was able to install and run on my husbands computer< but not my laptop> Not sure what else to do.

I apologize- the MP3 playeris an iLo, not an iPod. There is no special software included with an iLo.

Didn't work. I still have the same problem as senorarobles, which is it won't let me download songs.

Just try to reset the MP3 press and hold both Menu and Select (center button) for about 5 or 10 seconds. If the Ipod is alive this will reset it

Hope this may help you;

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have an AA file that I downloaded from audible.com, it's a book. When I try to sync it to the Sony Walkman from Windows Media Play, I get an error. The error says "Windows Media Player cannot sync...

The "AA" file type is not supported in the NWZ MP3 players. However, you are still able to place audiobooks onto your player if you convert the file to one of the supported file audio formats: MP3. WMA, AAC-LC, and PCM. Remember that there are several iterations of MP3, such as variable bit rate and frequency range and the player does not play some of them.

What I do is that I pull the file into Audacity and convert it there. Another option is that if you can burn the audiobook onto a CD, you can then rip to WMP and then sync it to your player. That is how I get my language audiobooks onto my player. The last option, which I have never tried, is to get it into ITunes, then sync it to your player that way. ITunes will automatically convert the file before syncing it onto the player.

Hope that helps.

I have Audio books that I want to put on my mp3 player, but I dont know how to get it to sync to my device and go into the Audiobooks instead of Music

First download the driver from your player's manufacture's site. It will be under download tab or support tab.
Download and install driver, then restart pc

Then turn on device, then plug into pc, then go to my computer, then you should see your device there. Double-click on the device folder. Now you can see and will have access to all folders.
You can leave this page up, then go to the page & file that your book is on. click, hold, and then drag this file over to the audio book folder and release the button, it will transfer the book to the mp3 player audio book file.
You can also use windows media player 11 and sync your mp3 player to your windows media player and create a playlist or library and transfer them onto mp3 player as well

Windows media player won't let me sinc

The firmware for RCA devices is not currently available and will no longer be, according to costumer service. Audiovox is not supporting the old devices like the opal. I guess when companies change hands it is no longer important for them to support the previous company's devices.

Error on downloading audio books

The new Sansa c200 series devices come with some songs on them from the factory and apparently they are in a special format.
All I had to do was fomat the device using its Settings Menu choice.
It wiped everything off the device, but then I was able to sync any song over to it using my Yahoo Music Jukebox software.

Insignia NS-4V24 sync error

Most likely a issue in the FAT or similar table. The tables used on the internal memory is allocated only for short files names since most media managers change the file names to fit 8.3 dos. They do this since mp3 and mwa audio files use id tagging. So try renaming your mp3's that its eight letters or numbers then the three letter extension .mp3 = rap0001.mp3

Synchronize to continue your music subscription message

I received the same error message. When you download a file from a subscription service, such as an audio book from a public library, you usually have to open the file on your computer first, which I believe, "activates the subscription" with the appropriate license. Some of the services pop up a screen telling you that your license is activated, but others, such as Overdrive, seem to do this automatically. When I downloaded a book and transfered it to a Sansa c240 mp3 player, I received the "synchronize" error message, but when I went through the above procedure and transferred to the mp3 player, no problems, and no error messages. farrell@comcast.net
