Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
My acer aspire 3600 doesnt even reboot? When i log in, there's only the background picture and -nothing- else. nothing load at all. so i click F2 [thinking i can do a reboot from there], nothing works. it remains in the F2 mode and doesnt even reboot. The only way to switch off the laptop is to press the shut down switch for 3 secs. I cant even do a proper shut down. Any suggestions?

You have something running in the background that is eating up the CPU useage. You need to identify which process is doing this.
Use the built in task manager, using ctrl-alt-delete to bring it up, and see which process is at above 90% cpu usage. Then post back here what you find.
