Is there any way to install my hp photosmart C4280 without the disk? I recently moved and can't find it. The conncetion point on the actual printer is damaged as well, so I can't simply connect it via the USB port, but it should have wireless capabilities.

If the USB port is damaged, you may need to replace or repair the printer. The C4280 does not have a native wireless feature. To get a wireless connection, you need a wireless USB print server that is compatible with the printer and the OS.

The drivers and HP software for the Photosmart C4280 are available from HP for supported OS versions. Go to http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3192753& and select your OS then click Next. You can also order a replacement CD at this point.

you simply go to this site , select the OS you use and download the drivers for the printer, save on your desktop. make sure the printer is disconnected from your computer . install the drivers after they are downloaded and follow instructions-- very qick and easy
