Because the TLS 8433 can be assembled out of different drives (LTO /Ultrium and so on) and can be used with different operating systems, I only could get some links to qualstar.
Perhaps when looking here, toy can find your way to the correct configuration and error.

Kenmore front load model 40272900 e codes (control Error)

If the washer's full model number is 79640272900, then the unit was made by LG. Looking up LG front-load washing machine error codes will give the available codes. Here is one listing: http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/blog/2010/02/washing-machine-fault-codes/#LG . Some of these codes are also available in the manual in the Trouble-shooting section. Manage My Life has the manual as a PDF here: http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/owner_manuals/17952/KENMORE-Residential-Washers-L0910072?brand_name_search=79640272900 .

I hope this helps.

Both Fault and Clean lights are on

It is nearly impossible to make a guess about a hardware fault without any additional information. The most common problem I know of though, is using a cleaning tape too many times. After about 2o uses, they pretty much don't clean anymore. If it's possible that you think you're cleaning the heads, but using too old of a cleaning tape, you may want to replace it. Otherwise, a hardware fault will have to be looked at internally.

Dlt tape drive left lights blinking, internal fault

This is a hardware fault with the drive (Quite common) The drive needs to be properly repaired (Main PCB Fault)

Send it to www.tape-drive-repair.com as they are quite good at this sort of thing and are not expensive

Turns out the PSU unit was weak. It couldn't provide the power needed to spin up the disks when inserted.

Can't Get Onstream to Load Tape

HI, This is normally a sign of a dirty drive head. If have any or if you can buy them, get yourself a cleaning tape to clean the head. Also check the tape itself is clear of dirt and nothing is broken/loose. M
