Samsung HDTV HPS5053 - Picture snow?

My TV has a strange problem where pixels will lose sync and not update anymore. It starts off slow and after a few minutes you can barly see the picture behind the mis behaving pixels.

Happens with all video inputs HDMI, DVD, etc.... and also with the TV's own menus.

What could possibly be going on?????

Bottom half of picture cuts out?

This is most likely a "cold" solder joint on one of the components, i.e. capacitor, inductor, ect. If you are handy with a solderiing iron and disassembly and more important reassembly, then you could reflow the cold joints. I hope this helps. Good luck :)

P50 VIZIO WHEN ON HDTV I GET SNOW

it's probably the Time Warner cable box that have issue and not the TV. Try using a DVD player and test the same input, it should work fine.

It may due to the Logic board, or Logic Scan board, or the Panel failure.

Sharp 36K-S400

Check the tuner input mode it has (air, cable, hrc, irc) with new stations updating to HDTV the demodulation at the tv sometimes looses the color burst sync. I have seen this with more and more tv's with pip tuners , it resets to the default of air ( rabbit ears ) at 75ohms and the low band snow, when you go to the high band (56+) it finds the color sync and resets the vestigial sideband offset, it happens more often if the SAP or CC is also trying to aquire the proper offset. good luck.
