Sounds as if you have inadvertently turned on the vacation lock. If you have a lock button hold down for two seconds to turn off. Then your remote should start working again. May need re-programmed if you left the battery out for more than a minute or two.

Automatic garage door not responding to any transmitters

Sounds like you need to reprogram all the remotes. Instructions should be with the new unit and even on the back of the unit up top .I just reprogrammed all of mine. When I installed my wall unit the others quit as well so I reprogrammed them. all.

Need to program Hampton Bay Ceiling fan remote control CHO88T7030T, HELP!

Change the battery. This is the first step when troubleshooting a ceiling fan remote. The easiest fix to any remote control problem begins with battery replacement. A 9-volt battery is needed to operate all Hampton Bay ceiling fan remotes.

Check the light switch used for the ceiling fan. The light switch found on the wall must be in the "on" position. This allows the ceiling fan to be operated by remote control

Re-program your remote. If battery replacement fails to get your remote working again, try to reprogram the remote. Open the battery cover you will see 4 dip switches. These switches must be set to the same position as the receiver on the fan. Use the screw driver to move the dip switches either up or down.

Follow the previous step to change the frequency if the ceiling fan is randomly turning on or off. Other electronic devices such as garage door openers can interfere with the ceiling fans receiver, causing it to randomly turn on or off.

All key fobs which I assume operate using a RF function have ceased working....why?

FIRST CHECK TO SEE IF THE LOCK/VACATION BUTTON ON THE WALL CONTROL HAS BEEN ACTIVATED. THE LED ON THE WALL CONTROL WILL BE FLASHING. - SIMPLE SOLUTION PUSH THE LOCK BUTTON AGAIN TO TURN OFF LOCK FUNTION.

SECOND TRY TO REPROGRAM THE REMOTES TO THE UNIT - THEY WILL SOMETIMES LOSE MEMORY IN AN ELECTRICAL STORM.

THIRD REPLACE THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTES AND THEN REPROGRAM.

HOPE THIS HELPS

Intermittent remote trouble

Your wall control is hard wired and doesn't use the receiver portion of the logic board. The remotes do. Your receiver is going bad.

Garage door opener will not respond to security plus remotes

Reset the Liftmaster unit. There should be a red reset button on the unit in the garage. If this does not work, reset the breaker. Good Luck!

Remote does not open garage door

It sounds like the wall button has the lock feature engauged.

Is there a small green LED flashing inside the wall button?
Push and hold the lock button for about two seconds and the LED should stop flashing. This will unlock the garage door opener and your remotes should start working. You may have to reprogram your remotes and homelink again since you triedprograming in the lock mode.

Good luck.
