There is a problem with the fuser thermistor in that machine.
You can replace the fuser module you can try looking up on google a business called 'The parts drop" call and see if they can sell you just a thermistor. That's not an uncommon problem. Some of those fusers were made with intermittent thermistors.
Also, you can go into the machine setup and turn the power save OFF. A new machine will come with the power save set to 5 minutes and it will make you crazy.

Here is how to turn the power save OFF.

The Power Save feature allows the machine to reduce power consumption when the machine is not in use. The time interval the machine waits after a job is printed before switching to the Power Save mode can be set to one of the following values: 5, 10, 15, 30, or 45 minutes.

    1. Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. 'Machine Setup' will be displayed on the Display Screen.

    2. Press the [Enter] button. 'Machine Setup Tray 1 Size' will be displayed.
    3. Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button until 'Power Save' is displayed, and then press the [Enter] button.
    4. Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button to select 'On' or 'Off' to enable or disable the Power Save mode.
    5. Press the [Enter] button to save the setting.
    6. If Off is selected, skip to step 9.
    7. If On is selected, press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button to select the required time interval.
    8. Press [Enter] to save the setting.
    9. Press the [Stop] button to return to the Standby mode.

NOTE: The scan lock switch is located on the bottom of the Scanner Module. Make sure the scan lock is completely free. It sometimes hangs at the halfway point.

  3. Press the power switch to the ON (|) position. A 'Warming Up, Please Wait' message will be displayed on the Display Screen. Warm up time is less than 40 seconds from power ON and less than 25 seconds from the Power Saver mode.

Permanent warming up message

When you replace a power supply for this machine, it needs to be the correct power supply for this model. If you have the old one, check to make sure the right power supply was ordered for this specific model.
Because I cannot see the display, and we only know what it is saying, the next best thing would be to see if the fuser warmed up at all. Open the side door and gently feel the fuser frame to see if it is warm at all. Do not touch the Fuser roll; it is hot even to the slightest touch.
If it is not hot, make sure all the plugs were correctly plugged into the power supply.
On this problem there can be other factors that can cause warming up.
First, the fuser assembly may be defective and needs replacement.
Second the main board may be gone out.
And last if the machine has memory chips in the back, unplug the machine, remove the small cover from the back and unplug the simms chips and reseat them. Plug in the machine, then power it on.
See if the machine will go to a ready.
If not, possibly the fuser, or main board, or both. If the main board or(and) the fuser assembly is replaced,
MAKE SURE THE CORRECT PART IS INSTALLED IN THE MACHINE.

If all else fails, Place a Xerox Service Call on the machine before it gets too expensive in troubleshooting the problem with purchased parts.

I need Know, How enter to service mode

Press,,,,, Menu #1934 . What you may want to try first is to do what is called the Shading adjustment. That calibrates the scanner.
It would be found in the maintenance menu after you enter diagnostics.
You must place 5 pieces of white paper on the glass before you perform the adjustment.
There really is no way to increase the amount of toner concentration on that machine. You may very well have a defective ink cartridge. That is not uncommon on the C20. There is a metering blade in the toner cartridge that often times does not allow enough ink to be applied to the toner roller.

"Ram Error" on Xerox 7750 LED screen at startup

The RAM being referred to is the main memory DIMMs located on the main Image Processor board. I would slide out this board and reseat the memory.

If that doesn't fix it, then the RAM memory (163-4663-00) or board (671-5316-80) may be bad. If you have 2 memory chips, just switch the location or remove 1 to see if you can troubleshoot which may be to blame.

XEROX C20 - Leaves a blank stripe down the side of the copy

Yeah the c20 is not sturdy at all. But that aside. Some things to do.
1, Unplug the machine, remove the back cover and on the right side you will see the main board. On the top portion of the board you will see a white ribbon cable. Unplug it and look at the silver contacts on the very end of that cable. Then reseat that cable. That may be the problem. More than likely though you have either a dirty mirror in the scanner. Which would require removing and cleaning the scanner thoroughly.
The laser may also need cleaning. The toner cartridges for that machine leave a lot to be desired also. When you get a bad copy remove the toner, shake it from side to side and see if that fixes the problem temporarily. The blades that put the proper amount of ink on the toner roll fail often.
The scanner failing would be my first thought.
Also go to Xerox.com, select support and drivers, then enter C20 in the search box. Then go to drivers and downloads and install the newest firmware for the machine. You may have a machine software issue.
I have worked on that machine since day one of its existence, I never did care for it. It is a cheap machine made by Sharp corporation for Xerox. It really isn't a Xerox product, they just stuck their sticker on it.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Do you have a maintenance agreement? If you do call them back and tell them to get there asap.
Sounds very much like the firmware is corrupted. If you cant get to diagnostics, here is what you can try.
On the back of the machine open the panel to access the memory, remove the memory and power the machine up with the memory removed. Let it fault out, then replace the memory and start it again. See if that works.
Then remove and reseat the main board by turning the orangish knobs and sliding the board out and back in.
It really sounds like the upload corrupted and Xerox needs to resolve this for you.
They will try and say it's not their fault, but if they directed you to do the upgrade, they are at fault and should fix it for you.
Unless, and I very much doubt the old software is on their site, no you cant go back to the old firmware, you may try reloading it and see if it loads correctly.
