Question about Samsung TX-P2670WH 26" TV
Hi Dan ['Absvcs'],
(From NP - Honolulu, HI)
Definitely appreciate your quick reply to my inquiry!
Yup, already tried determining whether there was a pattern to the TV refusing to turn on -- it happens extremely randomly...
Only thing I can think of is that either something got jostled around during the recent move (maybe the movers bumped it too many times?) or possibly the humidity here?
In either case - regarding your suggestion on looking for 'loose connections' I'll try taking a look - Is there any particular area I should concentrate/target?
What do u think are the chances that all this is due to a failed (burned-out) part? (btw - TV is 4yrs old...)
THe problem is not likely to be a defective part although that could be the case. I would first look for poor solder connections that would have been agrivated by any moves that you have made. If you can solder, resolder any connections on any board that appear grainy or have rings.
Keep me posted.
