Definitely do Not use these oils in your engine! Any good motor oil of the right viscosity will work, such as 10/30 or 10/40.

Why isn't something engaging when accelerator pressed?

It would help to know more information about the mower in question. Walk behind push mower? walk behind self-propelled mower/ Riding lawn mower? Lawn tractor? Or goat...just kidding...lol. The engine horse -power or cc's and make of the mower and engine. Anything happen before the problem or was it straight out of storage. Does the gas pedal feel normal? Could you be talking about the forward/ reverse pedal? These types don't engage by depressing them, they engage by releasing the pedal.
I'm going to guess you have a riding lawn mower or lawn tractor. The pedal for those types of mowers controls the transaxle ( rear wheels, transmission and differential basically). If the pedal move properly and it was working ok when it was stored, then check to see if you can push it with little effort. On most transaxles there is a disconnect rod to disengage the transaxle for towing the mower without damaging it. Pulled out for disengaged and in for engage. If that all checks out it could be very low on transmission fluid or the drive belt might be off or broken depending on which type you have. If it is low on fluid, you have a leak. Hope this helps.

Riding Lawn Tractors with Hydrostatic Transmission Tip of the Year

Hello everyone! IF you have a riding mower or tractor with hydrostatic transmission you are going to love this insider's tip. Slightly overfill the transmission. Always keep the fluid level about 1/4 inch above the full line on the dipstick. Once you have done this you will instantly notice that the tractor has more speed in forward and reverse. You will also notice that it has more power when mowing up hill. Doing this solved several problems I was having with low power and also slow reverse. I had adjusted the linkage but it did not solve my problem, adding the additional transmission fluid did. Enjoy your more responsive tractor! Joe

Transmission oil drain

it should be in the owners manual for the mower. I would say its gonna be a heavy gear oil. A local true-value or anywhere that works on lawn mowers should know about what kind

22hp.zero turn sometimes smokes then stops.

The smoke could be caused by blowby around the piston rings. Pour a small amount of transmission fluid in the spark plug hole and turn the engine over several times. Check the plug for fouling. Also check the coil wire for spark.

Compression lockup

Remove spark plug. Pull rope several times to blow out cylinder. Spray WD 40 in spark plug hole. Pull rope several times. ensure compression is present. Replace spark plug with new one. Spray starting fluid in cylinder before replacing spark plug. Ensure plug wires snaps on tight. Check oil level, fill with 30w oil if required. All mowers have a low oil start cutoff. Clean or replace air filter.

Steering wheel is hard to turn on cub cadet riding lawn mower seems locked up

Start buy checking from steering wheel down the shaft , to gear that does turning, to shaft underneath mower that goes to steering tierods , to tires. Oil and grease will do wonders on any parts that look rusty, or may be tight. Definately check air preasure in your tires. You should be fine.
GOOD LUCK.
