yes you can actually help yourself by going to ebay and buying a replacement owners manual, and hey a repair manual too, for less than the price of a tank of gas.

You can have the dealer to program the door locks for you using a feature called "customize" in the cars body ecu using theiur computer. They can be set it to lock or unlock when the car is put into Park, or lock/unlock when its put into Drive, and some other functions. They can adjust these setting in you car usually by using their computer, but a very few cars have info in the owners manual, that shows a sequence of door lock operations that will change these settings. You can check the owner's manual in the door lock section, but if that doesnt have the info (most likely it wont) have the dealer customize it to suit your needs.
