Sorry it took so long to give you a answer to your problem. You will have to remove the bulb and find the type of bulb and the voltage and current rating. This is usually marked on the bulbs metal casing. There may also be a brand name and a part number. Put these number into a search engine. If you have the correct number the search engine will find the part for you, if it is available. If this solution does not work for you, call the Emerson Customer Support. You can call them at this telephone number 1-800-909-1240 between the hour of 8am-4:30pm CT. Tell them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio and ask them for their assistance. I hope this information helps you solve your problem. Thank you for using FixYa and have a nice day!

Bulb burning out on projection .the bulb im useing is 21v 150w is this correct

Everything you say can be right. I don't know a Bell & Howell Digital Camera, with a 21v bulb.
why not make a picture from the lamp and post it here, or give a correct description of the apparatus the lamp is coming from?

My hunter ceiling fan is not working and according to hunter technical support, I need to replace the remote control receiver (part # 8511204000) at a cost of 50.00 plus shipping.is there a way to by-pass...

If the product did not come with a manual control on it then yes you will have to use the remote. However, if the replacement remote will cost nearly as much as the ceiling fan itself you could simply purchase a new fan.

Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Plastic Burning Smell

I think you have already figured out what the problem most likely is; 60 watt bulbs. Down-size the wattage or install 'energy saver' bulbs if they will fit the application. Instead of counting on these units for extra lighting, perhaps think about Track lighting to fill in those ares that need more but subtle light.
Good luck. :)

Light bulbs burn out

Use bulbs specifically designed for ceiling fans - they say "ceiling fan" on the package (Home Depot, Lowes both carry). The slightest regular vibration (like a fan rotating) causes normal incandescent elements to burn out within days or weeks.

If you wired black to black, white to white and green or bare to ground, you wired it right. Sometimes there are two blacks (hots) one for the light and one for the fan, but most of the time you hook the light wiring parallel to the fan wiring unless you install a remote switch.

Headlights

The same bulb in a lot of applications controls both the high and low beam. Generally the low beam portion will burn out and for a short time you will be able to use the high beam only. I can't be certain which headlight switch that you checked, but the most common solution is to replace the headlight bulb. The bulb is on the inside of the headlight lense and is accessible by opening the hood and peeling back the rubber cover that covers up all of the headlamp apparatus. Depending on the model of vehicle they are mounted in there differently. Make sure and change both at the same time. It is generally cheaper to purchase new headlight bulbs as a (2) pack and it never fails if you change one the other will burn out in a week. Hope this helps

Bulbs burning out in Hampton Bay ceiling fan

I would suggest getting an electrician to check the current running through the wiring. I had installed a similar fan in my grandmother's house a couple of years ago and had the same problem. After a couple of months of constantly changing bulbs, I brought in an electrician to check the current and found that there was a short in the wire which kept causing just enough of a current surge to blow the bulbs.

This Hampton Bay light fan fixture eats Light Bulbs

Read the manual to find out which size bulbs (base size and wattage) you need.

If you did use the right type of bulb and it lasted only 2 weeks, take them back to the store where you boght them for a refund.
