Tape Deck

Really simple one this. You have a slipping belt. Don't try to use any more tapes in it, you end up chewing them up. I change all my belts in my decks every 2 years due to the extreme heat we have here. Unless you know how to strip the unit and can get hold of the correct belt I'm afraid it's a repair shop job.

Yes sounds like the belts are stretched out or worn out if it is belt driven. Direct drive would be the motor going bad. Sounds like it needs to go to the shop.Or a come to your home service.
