how do i download games for archos av 700
Problem for Archos AV-700 Digital Media Player
Crack in the LCD
Hi I have the Av700.
one day I turned it one and I found a crack in the LCD (not a scrach but an internal crack). It might happned from a shock or somthing the dvice might sufferd.
The problem is that I bought it in the US and I don't live in the US. So when I contacted Archos they said that I can fix it only through the place I bought it. So...
Since I don't travel alot to the US (and using fedex is I've decided to open the device and fix it by myself (I'm an enginner). After tons of screws I got to the LCD and I found the part number of it. (Toshiba LTA070B34AA). Now the problem is how to buy one of those LCD.
Toshiba sais they can't sell single unit (only mass quantities). Archos don't wan't to sell replacement parts also (they are not nice at all..).
So if anyone has an idea how to get this LCD this will be more then helpful!
