Your unit are not compatible to each other. try other usb that can compatible to the unit Clarion. Option use audio jack like earphone jack and RCA jack if you don't want to replace your DVD and Iphone
I am having the same problem! I have Clarion VZ400, the radio plays the sound just fine but the cd/dvd sound will not play... My bluetooth is working fine though with my iPhone 4, it plays sound and connects for calls just fine. The solution that gregjr_pl1 posted is not accurate obviously.I am having the same problem! Did you check if the DVD disk you are trying to play is actually playable? Mabe the player can't read the disk so reboots to radio. Also, you should try with another DVD disk
If disk is ok, recheck your original setup options, but I'm quite sure that it's some electronic failure of your device. Simply should not make sense some hidden option to play radio wnen you select the DVD player.
So your final optin probably should de take your device to repair service. Look at your original warranty for nearest authorized repair service, even if warranty has expired.
Sounds as though it could be a defective device, or possibly you should rewire your setup and ensure all the wires are properly connected and are all there. Let me know the outcome.
sounds like u have a premium sound system. what u need to do is take ur blue/white remotewire to ur blue power antennat that should activate ur factory amp.
its a very common problem with g35 in dash clarion cd changer head units. a small plastic gear gets worn or brakes and wont eject or change cds. you need a new one, should be covered under your warranty.
