How will you know the model of your laptop compaq?? sorry for the poor english. Because i format my laptop then i dont know how to install the ethernet of it..

Sorry to say buddy but you the ultimate solution i can offer as of now is to format and install a fresh windows. There are some utilities on the net to crack it try to search or Google it.

It seems you are trying to update the wrong Graphics driver, I suggest you to go the Acer support website and download the driver from there.

For bluetooth, Make sure you should have the drivers installed for it.

Here's the story with Windows XP... On a system running ENGLISH Windows XP (Professional ONLY), you can put a Multi-language User Interface (MUI in short) and make it localized. This action is reversible, means you can go back to English at any time or switch to another language. BUT, if the original Windows language is NOT English, you just can't switch the user interface to English.

How to check if it's original English version or not? - Go to Control Panel (a symbol of a notebook and a pen) -> Regional and Language Options (a symbol of a globe). Click on the Languages tab (the middle one). If there's a selection box at the button - you're in luck! Click it and change to English. Then accept and restart!
In there's no selection box - I'm sorry but you'll have to format and install an English version of Windows XP - Home or Professional - whatever fits you best!

PS: On laptops that ships with Windows pre-installed in a localized version (language), there's SOMETIMES an indicator to it on the license sticker at the bottom of the laptop.

Compaq has a website with downloadable drivers for all their computers. Download the drivers, burn to CD and install. Trick is, one model could have different components inside, so they list several different drivers, and not all drivers work with all computers. So unless you know what components are inside your computer, you need all the drivers and just try them until you get the right one.

it should be working after an install or formatting if it is not working just go to www.hp.com and go to drivers and support section and type ur Notebook model and u will find the driver for sound, download it and install simple it will work if u dont find it lemme know i will do it for u
