FW-C870 NO FUNCTIONS

On the back panel, push the RESET button in. You can use a pen to push it in.

The solution I received for my TEAC DC-payer's CD stuck in it and the door did not open, was absolutly the best. I pushed the reset button at the back and it WOW worked.

Unless you've been inside the unit wires dont disconnect by them selfs. there are no litttle disconnecting wire knomes LOL.. Your problem is in the power regulator curcuit of the unit. Was there a storm or power surge that occoured recently?? Most likely then the unit was just tired. You can take to almost any decent repair place if you dont understand how to repair electronics But I would contact NAP (North American Phillips)first to see if theres somewhere close to you. if your not in the states then consult your operators manual and it will have a location that you can contact for service. Its look like a power problem cause a disconnected wire or a poor conntacts.

Look inside the unit and try and locate a fuse inside it could be bad. If you locate the fuse look inside the fuse and see if the wire inside is broken, if it is, replace the fuse.
