Hi there..this will be like a walk in a park...first, in your home kit you should be having the ff: antenna, rca cable(audio cables), power adapter & docking station. We just have to 'placed the radio into the docking station' then we just have to plug in the ff cables into the xm receiver..we can start plugging in the rca cable(one ended connector) into the ' audio out ' of your xm radio...the other ends of the rca cables should be plug in into the 'audio in'(at the back/infront of your sound system)...plug in the antenna in the 'antenna out' of your xm( the antenna should be placed into a south facing window and not being block by tall trees and buildings outside)....plug in the power source and turn on the radio....if you got it right you should now be getting the prev.channels/emergency allerts...u can call xm to send a refresh for you to get the complete channels..or you can do it online by logging into www.refresh.xmradio.com(if the radio was already activated) if not, you have to call xm radio to activate it..enjoy listening to xm..Godbless..

Observe that the device power cable inputs are in place. For example, if device was installed into a car ascertain that that the connections are in place or battery power runs to radio system of long since has been dislodged. familirise with the radio devices power on buttons.

You can try asking for help on www.XM411.com in the technical section - you might have some luck there, or at least get info from other XM owners. good luck!

I would try the XM Radio DOT Com website and search for user manuals. It is relatively easy - a 3 on a scale of 1-5 to do.

The factory xm volume to low in 2006 corvette

Separate 'plug and play' XM radios, like the one pictured above, have a "MENU" setup, and you can adjust the "Audio Level" in that menu setting. See if you can access an XM menu. You can also ask your question over at XM411.com or XMfan.com; both are 'fan' websites.
Good luck - nice car too!

Not advised. They have different resistance and are set up for different Sat signals. Chances are you will decrease the life of your radio if you get a signal at all.

No Signal on my XM Radio

Lately I have been loosing the signal constantly in the house. I've tried different stations to see if it would be any better and it's not. I called xm and they refreshed my signal but it didn't do ant good. It's really annoying to constantly have the signal fade. Everything is hooked up right. This is been going on for about 5 months and my neighbors complain about the same thing.
