The top frezer fan is working and the bottom part is real hot and the freezer is working partially what seems to be the problem???

Open the freezer compartment and listen for the fan motor if you don't hear it but you can hear the compressor running. youll need to first make sure that the door switch is working( If the lights go off when you press the button it should be okay). You'll need to remove the back panel and inspect the coils if frosted over evenly and the fan still is not working give the fan a little push. if it will not go, you need to see if it has voltage if so, replace the fan. If no check the defrost terminator which only on amanas will keep the fan off. In this case replace the defrost terminator(it look about like 5 quarters, with 2 wires clipped through the evaprator coils in back of freezer.

replace fan motor.

be carefull when you remove the panel inside the frezer it may be you have a build up of ice and the panel could get frozen to the ice, best idea is to turn off the fridge/frezer for 24hrs to let it thaw

make sure you don't have the air flow passages in the back of the freezer blocked with food items or frost. if you have alot of food or items in the freezer and its packed tight it won't let the cold air circulate into the bottom unit

the air flow is blocked betwen fridge and frezer or even the small fan is burnt out

Dont know this model but it may have two compressors and only one working.

just about all friges work off the frezer .the evap fan moves the air fromthe frezer to the frig.so you would here fan noise.i dont know your brand but on most frezers if you turn the frezer temp to the highest setting thats acomplished by keeping the air from going to the frige.hence warmer frig temps .also make sure fan on out side back is working and condenser is clean.again turn air damper control from frezer to frige to lowest setting .somthimes this could be in frig section.God bless ,tom

check the fan in the frezer is it running and is there any frost on the back panel of the frezer

check the fan in the frezer and check the defrost

coils can be located in front behind grill, in back behind bottom cover or running up back wall of fridge. usually not coil problem unless it is just filthy. check 2 c if fan in freezer and fan in back of fridge are running. sounds like defrost problem or freon issue.
