I'd go for contacting HP and check if they have a driver made for your printer that will run on 98, mostly if you unit is bought and made in 07-08, you will only get 2000 XP and vista drivers on the CD, you may try to download other OS drivers online. as far as i have checked it is not available for some reason.

My print command keeps reverting to SAVE, showing a window box for *.xps, and does not execute the print. I also do not have the HP PSC 2210 icon in my "PRINTERS & FAXES" panel, it is missing, so I believe...

It sounds like the printer is no longer installed. Reinstall it using the original driver disk, if you do not have the disk you can download the drivers from www.hp.com under drivers and downloads.

Hope this helps

Cannot get dial tone to send a fax

try to reset your printer to factory setting

purchased your HP PSC. Choosing to restore your factory defaults restores
all settings, except date information.
You can perform this process from the front panel only.
1 Press Setup.
2 Press 5, then press 3.
This selects Maintenance, and then selects Restore Factory Defaults.
The factory default settings are restored.

and you can find the manual at this link

Hp psc 2210 all in one

You can download the drivers from HP's site here. You can also order a replacement for the cost of shipping from a link from this page.

If you are using Windows 98 or ME the drivers are no longer available from HP. In this case please post a comment here with your OS and we can try to find you a solution.
