Hi Carl, I found 2 different hook-ups so I will list them both. You can check them out according to the wire colors you have in the mic cord. First one and this may be for a turner mobile mic. ; Turner
1- Shield & Red
This one is out of the Turner book but they did not list your radio exactly. This is the most popular hook-up for Realistic's.
Hope this helps, Mike
Must know the pin out of the transceiver your wiring it too.
like cobras 1.ground 2.audio 3. TX 4. RX... then wire accordingly.(same as the 4 pin exports)..
Use a ohm meter to find the correct wires on your mic switch.
then you know how to wire any mic to any transceiver.
This will work for the turner 2+2
1 is shield (and may also need blue for astatic mic or red for turner mic)
2 is audio (white on astatic and turner mics)
3 is Transmit (Red on astatic mic or blue on turner mic)
4 is receive (Black on both astatic and turner mics)
If your mic isn't an astatic or turner, email me with what mic that you have and I'll try to help. N1PTA@msn.com
