it is better to change the black cartige becaue there is the jam of the ink in black cartidge. or pick out the black cartidge and clean with soft paper in the place from where color is pour. then reinstall the cartidge. i hope it will ok. otherwise, change the cartidge. byee
Bad News that you have put the wrong cartridge in the wrong slot.
If you call HP they will replace both the Cartridge and the All-In-One as this is not possible to take out the cartidge from the wrong slot.
But if it is possible please apply little more pressure and try to take the cartridge out from the slot and try replacing it to the right slot.
If your printer is still in warranty then you can get both the cartridge and the All-In-One Replaced for free, if not you may opt for the Out Of Warranty Upgrade option Through HP Tech Support.
its ok I solved it! I didn't realise that all the photo cartridge does is gloss over the colour picture produced by the colour cartridge. I simply had to replace the colour cartridge which had run out, so now its all working perfectly!!
You will need to clean the contacts on the cartridge & the printer.
Also check & clean the interface ribbon ( the white tap connected to the cartridge carriage.
