Question about Sanyo DS24424 24" TV
I would like to know who is near the Orange County area since I bought my TV. for 50 bucks I don't want to buy a new remote. maybe I can use some ones remote for a few dollars I can bring my TV. to your house just to take the V-Guide off. my kids need a TV. bad. My e email@example.com

My fuse is good, I took the plunge and removed the 6 screws around the cabinet and 1 in back by the Video In jacks, pulled it back 8" and checked. Then I went further and disconnected everything (careful with the TV HV Rubber capped tension lead - it can kill you! and I found some board discoloration (heat) and tshot some more and found a bad transistor in the HORIZ OUT section. Mine is a TT2168 and I am looking for a replacement part now.
Typically when these fail, it is because of excess voltage or excesss heat. It gets kicked thru a coil, which gets kicked from another chip. I will let you know what I find out.
