1) did you pull the choke (under fuel tap) ?
2) did you fill gasoline (+ 2% oil mix)?
3) if that does not help get a new spark plug
4) push-start the Vespa in 2nd gear with clutch pulled and let the clutch go after you reach a certain speed (easier downhill)
no, it's not!
- do you have the later type of PX with a separate oil-tank which mixes the oil automatically to the gasoline or do you mix the two-stroke oil in a 50:1 ratio by yourself to the gasoline tank?
- if you have the 2 tank system you need to fill up the oil-tank always with two-stroke oil!
did you ever made a service on your Vespa?
like changing spark plug, replace engine oil , clean carburetor and adjust ignition etc?
don't worry -the clunk noise is typical when changing gears on a Vespa 125 PX - it is due to a very old fashioned construction in the gearbox (1940ies) see pictures: you have to get used to that or change to a newer automatic type Vespa....
Hi there!
Older largeframe mounting brackets bolt directly to frame, and your PX is not prepared to justplug it in.
If you are willing to mess with your frame, I would choose another option for the spare tire... (or just live with a emergency anti-flat spray)
If you do want to use the classic mounting brackets (they will look better than any other option), try to measure on another Vespa where the holes are located. Sprint, GTR, etc use this kind of spare tire bracket.
Sorry if I didnt get you the answer you most wanted... (and please be kind when you rate me ;) )
Regards!
