Hi As recently as a month ago I bought a Kurzweil PC3K8 from sound solutions. On 13/08/2011 I took the keyboard (in a flight case) to a gig. After setting up the keyboard and powering on, the blue light on the screen comes on, however nothing loads and the keyboard remains in that state. Because of this I'm unable to actually use the keyboard and I was unable to perform. I have no clue as to why this has happened as I'm adamant that the keyboard was well looked after and it didn't get bump and bashed about whilst in transportation What can be done to resolve this problem? If you have a card reader writer that accepts smart media cards then remove from keyboard and format via a computer.It may be fat16 and not fat32 ....a good utility is hp utility storage format tool which is a small file free to use off the internet.lastly because the card is so small you can get these for very little money off eBay.

Probably the battery is low insite it takes ling because it tries to juice the last life from the batterie will get worse until it stops replace it and go

Probably a cable has come loose inside the unit. The keys are scanned by the internal processor as a matrix of two contacts per key. Often the keyboard is divided into two sections.

Check the voltage provided by the cells. Each cell should be above 3 volts. Make sure they are installed with correct polarity and the contacts are making. Brand new cells CAN be bad and some holders may not contact properly.
