Have Heidelberg Linoscan 1400 with scsi connection and will connectto IMac G4 with usb. Is there any convertor or connector?Can the scsi-card changed to usb-card in the scanner.I have a scsi-card in the other G4 but it did not email@example.com

SCSI to USB converters are available, but I doubt they will be of much help for you, you'd still need a special driver for your scanner. Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate support "XP Mode", essentially a Windows XP environment running in a virtual machine. I'd try to get the SCSI interface card and scanner to run inside the VM as a workaround.
Setup is easy just plug in the cable in to the scanner and the other end of the cable plugs in to the back of the computer and make sure your computer is off. After you plugged them both in, plug in your power supply for your scanner then turn on your computer and it should do the rest.
