there could be the problem with registry keys conflicting with each other,
Tools > Audio and video setup...
Follow the instructions on the setup screen and once its finished, you will find that the webcam should be able to show up.
If it doesn't show the webcam on the other person, tell him to switch
his status to busy for 5 seconds and then back, hopefully that should
come up on the other persons screen.
If this hasn't work in most cases it should work - You will have to
downgrade to Windows Live Messenger 8.5 and hopefully it should work.
If this hasn't work, go to the HP website and search up webcam drivers
for your device and then install it on your computer - Hopefully your
webcam would work. if it does not work then you have to download reginout registry cleaner to fix this problem
You have to go through a certain guide. Go to Tools > Installation guide for sound and video.
I have the Swedish version, so the translation may not be exact. But look for some kind of guide for installation of audio and video. Should do the trick.
