You neglected to infrome whether 32 or 64 bit if 32 bit The drivers for 32 bit are standard USB handset drivers normally provided by the phone manufacturer (LG) They use the same drivers for many of their phones.. LG VX 6100, VX 7000, VX8000 and VX 8100. Possibly even more
If 64 bit you are out of luck at this time the solution use a 32 bit version of XP without SP2 or with it maybe you get lucky and it work
You must have got a CD along with the phone. Insert his CD and install the program Samsung PC Studio to your PC. If you have misplaced then download a copy from www.samsungmobile.com. Unless you have the drivers for this phone loaded you can not access it from the PC. Once the drivers are installed then all you have to do is attach it using the USB cable and allow Windows to detect the phone and load its drivers. Follow the link below to install the drivers:
switch on the phone, then connect to usb. on your phone you get 3 options, choose mass storage. on your pc, open explorer, and navigate to external disks. there should be 2 new ones; the first one is the memory card, the second the internal memory of the phone.
the drivers are 'generic' so no need for a cd.
well I suggest that you change your operating system to Windows XP..so that there is a better chance...n if it doesnt recognize it AT ALL..try replacing de USB cabel..n then try again..else ..u need to download de USB driver..or install vista ! since it installs de driver by itself..ok
If you want to use a cable connection, go into the phone menu and select the following: Menu > Settings > Connectivity > USB Connection Mode > Mass Storage
After this, plug the phone in via the USB cable. The computer will prompt to install the modem driver which you can cancel. Then the computer should detect the memory card as a USB drive and you can copy and paste what you need.
(1) reinstall windows & install usb cable driver again.
(2) Check ur mobile & cable on other computer i.e.on ur friend's PC.
(3) Contact ur service provider.
or contact with details error msg & name of service provider.
if you have an internet plan on your phone you can send that file throught it. And if your phone has bluetooth and PC with bluetooth you can sync both device without problem. Or if your phone has an external memory capable (SD,MS,Pro,MMC,XD, etc..) put that kind of memory on your phone and save to that external and transfer it to your PC.
