Question about XFX GeForce FX 5700 Graphic Card

Gforce 8400 problems

Previously I have Intel original 915 motherboard, P IV single core 3 GHz Cpu, 1GB DDR1 RAM and Sparkle gs8400 256 MB Graphic Card, 450 Watt PSU.
Now I have bought a New motherboard, Biostar m7-TE which supports all of my previous things except DDR1 RAM. I have change the ram to DDR2 transcend 1GB+1GB. System works fine.
But, after 30-40 minutes, when I want to reboot my system, a faint XP loading screen appears on the screen and machine halts. After few R&D, I have understand that this is the G-card overheatiing problem. I have open the case and off the machine for 5 minutes. Then machine starts and load XP normally.
I have tested the graphic card temp. with nvidia monitor (that is 57 - 65 degree C). But At this temperature, my previous intel motherboard could not behave like that. I have change the G-card with the same brand and capacity, but same thing appears. Is it like a thermal shutdown? Is there any setting in the motherboard? Drivers are installed propery, bios updated.

What will be the solution? please answer me here or at my gmail no.

Does your case has any space for more fans or water cooling? If this is a possiblilty. I would reccomend the use cooling if possible. If not download Riva Tuner and Speed up the fans on your GPU and in your case heres the link:

Hello friends... I have Intel DG31GL board Intel Pentium dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz 512 mb of ram Os:windows xp Please suggest a 1gb low budget graphic card

Dear Anagh Ashok,
Firstly I strongly suggest that you update your RAM to at least 1GB. It will help in more ways than one. Then you could go for a 4X or 8X basic PCI Express graphics card which could cost you around Rs.2500/- to Rs.3000/-. But I really doubt if your motherboard has an expansion slot dedicated for a graphics card. Most DG31GL don't have. Only DG31PR mobos have a PCI Express slot. So if your mobo does'nt have one then I don't think it will be of any help. Then I would suggest, you change your mobo, having the same CPU socket i.e. LGA775 in which your existing CPU should be compatible as also your RAM. I would further suggest you go for a mobo with DDR2 type RAM sockets as the older DDR1 RAMs are phasing out and are far more costly compared to DDR1.

What type of dual core processor can I use for my dc7600?

The motherboard for the dc7600 has an Intel LGA775 processor socket. However, not all LGA775 processors are compatible with the motherboard. For the small form factor, the following CPUs are supported: Intel Celeron D Processors:
Intel Celeron D 331 Processor (2.66-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Celeron D 336 Processor (2.80-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Celeron D 346 Processor (3.06-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB)
Intel Pentium 4 Processors with HT Technology:
Intel Pentium 4 521 Processor (2.8-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB) , Intel Pentium 4 524 Processor (3.06-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Pentium 4 541 Processor (3.2-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 620 Processor (2.8-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 630 Processor (3.0-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 631 Processor (3.0-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 640 Processor (3.2-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 641 Processor (3.2-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 650 Processor (3.4-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 651 Processor (3.4-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 661 Processor (3.6-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB) or
Intel Pentium D Dual Core Processors:
Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core Processor (2.66-GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 820 Dual Core Processor (2.8-GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 915 Dual Core Processor (2.8-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 925 Dual Core Processor (3.0-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 930 Dual Core Processor (3.0-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 940 Dual Core Processor (3.2-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 945 Dual Core Processor (3.4-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 950 Dual Core Processor (3.4-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Unfortunately, these are old processors and I don't see any available new. Newegg.com lists a couple available as refurbished. You may be better off getting a new computer with either a Intel I3 or current AMD processor.

I wish that I had better news for you.

(do not attempt to use a CPU that your motherboard doesn't support. It probably won't boot.)
